About the Masterworks Chorale Summer Sings:

Established in 1969, Masterworks Chorale’s Summer Sing program is the most extensive program of its kind in New England. Summer Sing is an eight-week program that gives the audience — consisting of both amateur and professional singers — the opportunity to perform a different masterpiece of the choral repertoire each week, working under the direction of Conductor Steven Karidoyanes and selected guest conductors, and with professional soloists. Admission is kept at an affordable $10, and several hundred singers from around the Boston area come each week, many of whom have been participating for years. In addition to the singing and learning opportunities enjoyed by the audience members, Summer Sing has also provided performance opportunities to many young soloists, a number of whom have gone on to professional singing careers.
