Rebecca Clark Lightcap
When I consider the sum of my choral experiences, one of the first words that come to mind is “family”. My father sang tenor in the church choir; I went to church with him every week and sat with other families to watch him sing. Once I was in high school, Dad and I went off together to Thursday evening rehearsal and Sunday morning church. The choir became my adoptive family.
And so it is, all these years later, with Masterworks Chorale. We have had so many nuclear families in Masterworks over the years…three mother-daughter teams, and there have always been couples in the group. Some of those couples actually met in Masterworks Chorale; Lou and I are among them.
